SR&ED

The Scientific Development and research fund is a tax initiative created by the Federal government to stimulate research and development by Canadian companies.

In 2006 over 2.6 billion dollars was given out to over 18,000 companies.

SR&ED has become more and more influential in the planning budgets of technical departments. I created the following primer to introduce the concepts of the SR&ED program as well as criteria for eligibility.
